Can my 2 year old go on carnival rides?

Why don't you ask the people that run the carnival rides? It would make more sense to ask the ride operators if your child is old enough and big enough. It is not like we can give you permission or the carnival people have to take what someone or anyone from Y/A has to write about it. The best people to ask are the ones that are footing the insurance bills and have to take the responsibility if anything goes wrong.
