I think my mom's bf likes me help!?

My mom has been dating this African man for only three months and she first introduced me to him on their first date,he's really nice to me but he's always calling my phone asking me why I don't call him, he always tells me how much he loves me,he wants to know when just me and him can hang out (without my mom) and today he told me that he thinks about me twenty four seven. And tonight I ran into him and my mom talking and he asked me to give him a hug so I did,and he like grabbed me around the waist and kept whispering in my ear asking why haven't I called him, I have a deep gut feeling that he's gonna try and me one day but idk, is he just being nice or should I be afraid, please help,I'm fifteen by the way
