Is it unusual to be robbed by a child?

I was at CHURCH the other day and I was working with the little kiddies and I left the room for a second to use the bathroom so I left my purse unattended not thinking much of it. I came back and noticed that not only was my brush missing but they also stole $54.00 from me! I'm talking 7 and 8 year old kids. Now I was raised in a good neighbourhood so I have never been robbed. But who teaches children to steal!! I'm outraged not at the fact that I lost $54 dollars and a brush but because "innocent" children stole from me. And the fact that they stole at CHURCH!!! It's so frustrating because I thought I taught them better. Ugh!
