As a child, were there any kiddie shows that terrified you ? Do you know why ?

"H.R. Puff n Stuff" REALLY creeped me out. I was a very small child but I do remember that show, and how weird and "hippified" it was. All the strange monsters and talking items. The worst to me was that ugly witch.
