Help with my pregnant red eared slider?

i have two kiddie pools, both are exactly the same. i caught the two mating a few days ago(didnt know they were male and female) and im pretty sure they do it all the time now. yesterday, i moved them both into the pregnant pool, so she will be used to it slowly without too much stress. i put a basking rock in it, and a shady area, and its with shallow water, so its only up to half of their shells. tomorrow i am buying chicken wire to put over the top so nothing can try eating her, and she cant get out. im also getting that soil stuff so half will be land, half will be water. what can i do to make her more comfortable? she is always trying to get out, will she eventuallly get used to it?
