How many days do i have to wait till i get the phone call from the marine boot camp? (look at the detail)?

When he starts Boot Camp his Drill Instructors will give him about 2-5 minutes to call home to let you know he made it there alright and maybe give a mailing address. After he has been there for a few weeks he will be able to call about once a week. Usually if he trys to call and you are not there, the DI's will let him keep trying. They do this so they don't have worried family members calling and bothering the commander.
