How come my android apps only work when i'am on wifi connection now?

when i turn off the wifi connection on my phone and switch back to my regular phone network, my apps dont want to work, but work when its on wifi. when i try to open my apps it keeps sayin a network error has ocurred. can someone please let me know what i might be doing wrong here?
